Meet Lorraine Searle Founder of Well Women 360

Lorraine Searle is an Advanced Registered Nurse practitioner. She attended Philadelphia University where she earned her Masters of Health Science and her Certified Nursing and Midwifery certificate in 2011.

Prior to moving to Florida, Lorraine worked as a registered nurse and midwife in the U.K. and attained her BSc from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2006.

ARNP’s emphasize disease prevention and health promotion and nurse midwives work in collaboration with MD’s to achieve this safe and high level of care.

Lorraine has many years of experience of facilitating choices that women make, has worked in both the hospital and community setting, where she has attended many deliveries and gained a valuable knowledge and skill set. A relationship built on trust, safety and recognizing the importance of individual choices for women and their families leads to healthy and fulfilled outcomes.

Lorraine is a qualified Montessori teacher, licensed in childbirth education, Hypnobirthing and is a licensed instructor in exercise in pregnancy.

Lorraine is married to Tom, a Medical Doctor in Obstetrics and Gynecology who practices here in St Augustine and is committed to providing the highest level of care to the women throughout their life cycle; Tom encourages inclusion of the woman in all aspects of health care and therefore provide safe continuous and comprehensive care of women for her ongoing health needs.

Tom and Lorraine moved to beautiful Saint Augustine in 2007 with their three boys Conor, Ben and Callum.

Dr. Deacon-Casey has an extreme passion for Women’s wellness and overall health and well-being. She firmly believes that if a woman looks good, she feels great which has a profound impact on any relationship in her life. She has specialized training in Aesthetic medicine and has treated many diseases processes including Venous Disease, Uterine Fibroids and Pelvic Congestion syndrome. She is currently the Medical Director at Ponte Vedra Vein Institute. She is married and the mother of two and enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, tennis, music, singing, and an active member of her church.

Dr. Deacon-Casey has been practicing in Jacksonville, Florida since 2003. She earned her medical degree at Meharry Medical College where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She went on to complete a Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the Mayo Clinic, Jacksonville, Florida and fellowship training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Florida/Shands, Jacksonville. Dr. Deacon-Casey is Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology in both Diagnostic Radiology and Vascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Bowen-Wells earned her medical degree from Northwestern University. She then completed her General Surgery training at University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Bowen-Wells then completed her Fellowship in Surgical Oncology at University of Miami, Miami Florida. She is a Board Certified General Surgeon.
Dr. Bowen-Wells practice includes General Surgery (including minimally invasive/laparoscopic procedures), Surgical Oncology and Wound Care. She has been practicing in her field of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology for more than 10 years. Dr. Bowen-Wells has been in the Jacksonville area for more than 8 years.
Dr. Bowen-Wells has special interests in Women’s health, Research and Wound Care.
She has published a book chapter and Peer Review articles. She enjoys spending time with her Family, playing sports, hiking and singing. She is one of the sideline volunteer physicians at the Annual Bob Hayes Track Meet since 2011. She has also volunteers in the community by giving lectures on Cancer to Church Groups.

Danielle Forgie is born and raised a Floridian, growing up in St. Augustine. She went to Cathedral Parish School in her childhood years, transitioning to Pedro Menendez High School, and then going off to
college to the University of Central Florida. She has a bachelor’s degree in Health Service Administration
from the University of Central Florida, and a certification in quality management. Danielle did an
internship at the Orthopaedic Associates of St. Augustine for her undergrad. She has many experiences
in leadership and management roles. She has teaching experience with children from infants to middle
school age, and has a passion of giving back to the community.

Erin Andenora was previously a teacher in Saint Johns County and was a duel sport collegiate athlete at Flagler College. After
having her first child, Erin combined her passion for teaching and fitness and got her Prenatal and Postnatal Personal Training Certification. In the past two years, Erin has created a workout class for moms that transforms through all stages of motherhood and fitness levels. Class structure consists of body weight exercises containing aspects of cardio, muscle building and toning and can easily and safely be completed with your child by your side, if needed!

Johna Beaman, completed pilates training through Balanced Body in 2011. Johna has enjoyed and used Pilates for herself, this regular practice helped eliminate sciatic pain. Johna loves teaching clients ways to become pain free. The method of Pilates is the most gentle and effective way to keep strong and flexible.

Nicole Tristram is a physical therapist and owner of Premiere Pilates Rehabilitation & Fitness. She is a certified Pilates Rehabilitation Practitioner through Polestar Pilates International and trained in “Therapilates” for bone building and injury prevention. Her private physical therapy practice is focused on Women’s Health and Wellness. She specializes in treatment of Pelvic Floor Disorders, Breast Cancer, Sacroiliac Joint Dysfunction, Pre & Post Natal, Fibromyalgia, Extremity Lymphedema, Performing Arts, Orthopedic Sports Medicine & Pediatrics. She was first introduced to the Pilates Method while undergoing rehabilitation for a repetitive overuse injury in her former career as a dancer and has been certified in Pilates since 2003. In teaching The Pilates Method, Nicole strives toward the achievement of “Perfect Balance of Body, Mind & Spirit” for all her clients.

Mallory's passion for food and nutrition was ignited at an early age. Her mother's love and experience in the kitchen fueled her curiosity for developing healthy meals that bring people together. Her family would typically have a small gathering every Sunday evening in which family and friends would gather in their home to enjoy a lovely meal and conversation. As a result Mallory was able to recognize early on the role food plays in bringing people together, and it was this realization that sparked her desire to enter the field of nutrition and dietetics.

Mallory also developed a love for gardening which she attributes to her dad's love of landscaping and her childhood chores working in the yard. During college she volunteered at an after school program teaching at risk youth gardening and nutrition topics and also at an aquaponic farm in which she taught special needs students about organic sustainable farming. In 2012 she graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics and a minor is Psychology she then went on to complete a foodservice management internship at the University of Kansas.

She currently works as an Assistant Director of Food and Nutrition Services in the healthcare field, though she would like to eventually transition into role solely focused on women and infant health. In a continued pursuit of knowledge she is currently studying maternal nutrition and lactation support in hopes that she can share her knowledge with current and soon-to-be mothers.

Lisa discovered yoga in her teen years as a competitive cheerleader and dancer, but she fell in love with the practice of yoga in 2008 after graduating from Flagler College. Her practice consisted mostly of ashtanga, vinyasa and bikram yoga. Despite the differences in each tradition, she loved the consistency of self awareness, breath and body connection, and mindfulness. Yoga has brought healing to her physically and emotionally throughout different seasons of her life. As an educator and mother, this practice has helped her to inspire her students and her daughters to develop the whole self- physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Yoga has encouraged grace and acceptance towards herself and others, while simultaneously stepping outside of comfort zones and pushing ourselves to a new edge. She believes yoga is a path to self discovery, pouring into oneself and then shining that light into the world as we pour into others. In 2016, Lisa completed her RYT200 hour yoga teacher training in the Kripalu tradition, which focuses on a body, mind, energy paradigm. As she develops as a yoga teacher in our ancient little city, she continues to find joy in this beautiful practice and the yoga community of St. Augustine.

Certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Lauren's passion for training the perinatal woman was ignited after safely training herself throughout her first pregnancy. She knew she wanted to help other women have healthy, fit pregnancies, allowing them to bounce back more quickly post birth. Lauren's 'Fit Mamas' workouts are fun, scalable to all levels, and most importantly - safe for expectant and new mamas. She provides women with the knowledge and exercises to support a healthy pregnancy to help prevent common pregnancy related issues such as Diastasis Recti, Pelvic Floor Dysfunction, and Pelvic Organ Prolapse, allowing her clients to experience a faster healing phase post baby.

She loves spending her free time with her husband and two boys on the boat, at the beach or doing yoga, and looks forward to guiding you through this season of life as the strongest version of you.

Gabrielle Teryek is a mother of 3 with a passion for helping couples gain the confidence and knowledge to have the birth they desire. Gabrielle went into her first pregnancy completely unaware of the many options in birth, and it wasn't until attending a childbirth class around her 6th month of pregnancy that she realized she had a lot of research and thinking to do! Seven years (and 3 all-natural births) later, Gabrielle is honored to be an Affiliated Bradley Method instructor who has guided many couples in their quest to have a natural birth at a hospital, birth center, or at home. Gabrielle has also been helping moms have a more gentle transition to motherhood through placenta encapsulation services for the past 3 years.

Educating couples in mind, body and spirit wellness and reconditioning the mind for birth.
Vonda has attending well over 350 births.
My forte is bringing calm confidence and assurance with me to your birth, which can be an uncertain and sometimes foreign environment.
About me: I love the outdoors! My life is filled with family and my 3 grand-children, health, fitness, travel, biking, boating , stand up paddle boarding and gardening.

Lucy Nelson is an E-RYT 200 who began her yoga journey during her first pregnancy in 2004. She used the practice to calm her anxious mind and to settle into her changing body. Lucy completed her teacher training at Om Seva School of Yoga in 2011, with a focus in Vinyasa. She has since gone on to study alignment-based yoga, therapeutic yoga for women’s health, prenatal and postnatal yoga, aromatherapy, and has taught a variety of workshops and anatomy classes. She is passionate about utilizing yoga in all stages of womanhood to calm the mind and strengthen the body.

Michelle Smith has been sharing her love of music and movement with St. Augustine families since 1999. Michelle believes that bringing a sense of joy and playfulness, and adding many different types of music greatly benefit young children in their developmental milestones. Children can be our greatest teachers as they are fully present in their activities, and are so very excited about learning new things. If we as parents and teachers can encourage that joy and presence, and guide it in a loving manner, we can make learning fun for the children, as well as the parents.
All Music and Movement classes include dancing freely, as well as integrating "suggestions for movement" such as in the song "Wheels on the Bus", playing age-appropriate instruments, and moving with colorful props such as scarves, ribbons, parachutes or balloons to add a colorful dimension.

She grew up in Clearwater, Florida and has lived in St. Augustine for 20 years- she needs the beach close by! She studied psychology at Flagler College. These days, Jen puts her psychology degree to work (ha!) with her three children- Molly, 9yo, Charlie, 6yo, and Lucy, 3yo. She and her husband Mike recently celebrated ten years of marriage. Reading, theatre, and spending time with her family and friends is how Jen unwinds. She thinks it is important for you ladies to not be so hard on yourselves, but knows that is easier said than done! Sarcasm is my love language. I have three children that keep me crazy. I could not ask for a better job. I've survived all of my major life events with multiple Sex and the City binge sessions. My ideal night involves wine, a camp fire, and endless conversations about the meaning and magic of life. I am in love with the ocean and yet simultaneously convinced sharks are going to attack me every time I go in the water above my knees. I suppose that sums up how I experience most things in life - in grateful awe with a side serving of anxiety. In addition to photography I birth assist with River City Homebirth and write for our local parenting blog - St. Augustine Moms Blog.
